A devotional by Dave Adamson made me think about one Bible story in a different way.

The story comes from Mark 14:3-9, when a woman pours expensive perfume on Jesus’ head and some people call it a waste. Jesus himself though calls it a beautiful thing.

What gave me a new perspective is the fact that the woman did not just open the bottle, she broke it. From something broken comes something beautiful when it is used for God’s purpose. Does it remind you of our lives? From brokenness we come into the service for God and He makes our lives beautiful!

God is so, so good!
