Psalm 8:1, 3, 4
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens. . .
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
Last Sunday night in our Adult VBS class we saw a video which emphasized the greatness of our God. It is beyond our ability to comprehend when we think of how vast the universe He created is—and we only know a small part of it because our telescopes and our technology have not found anything that indicates any end to its magnitude.
It is so vast we measure it in light years—5.88 trillion miles—and even then we get to numbers that stagger us. Yet out of all the vastness of the universe, only man on this small planet of earth has the distinction of being created in the image of the creator, and being created for a loving relationship with that creator.
This Sunday night we will consider another video entitled “How Great Is Our God.” We encourage you to join us be inspired by the love that Our God had for us.
