Day Sixteen of the Forty Days of Prayer of the MoSt Church (January 17, 2011)
Proverbs 8:32
Now then, my children, listen to me: blessed are those who keep my ways.
Meditation Thought: We go through life engaged in the pursuit of happiness. In fact, that is one of the unalienable rights listed in our Declaration of Independence with which we are endowed by our Creator. Yet we often fail to realize that the way to achieve that happiness is by listening to Him and keeping His ways.
Prayer: O God, You who made us and provided the instructions for our happiness, help us to listen to You as You speak to us through Your Word and through Your Spirit. Help us to know that it is only through following your instructions that we can find true happiness, both in this life and through all eternity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
