Day 22 of the Forty Days of Prayer of the MoSt Church (January 23, 2011)

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ.

Meditation Thought:  God gave me powerful weapons to demolish strongholds in my life.

Prayer:  Mighty God and Father above, You have given me spiritual weapons to defeat enemies and attitudes that come against You.  I pray that I will become a greater warrior for Your kingdom.  Give me the wisdom and understanding to know how to use these weapons.  I pray that I will use them to demolish the strongholds in my life and in the lives those in my family.  Thank You, Father, for these divine gifts, in Jesus’ name I offer this prayer, Amen.
