Day 23 of the Forty Days of Prayer of the MoSt Church (January 24, 2011)

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.  So do not be ashamed to testify about the Lord … but join me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life.

Acts 4:31-33
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly … with great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

Meditation Thought:  God gives me the power to not be ashamed and to testify about the Lord Jesus.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I pray for Your power in my life to share the gospel of grace.  I pray for boldness to share my faith and my testimony with others.  I pray that others will see Your power in my life.  Thank You for desiring to make me more like Your Son.  Thank You for destroying my enemies.  I pray to be more committed to being a vessel of Your Word.  May others see that I trust only in You, through Jesus I pray, Amen.
