God is Love

John 3:16 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Meditation Thought:  Just about anyone you ask, Christian or not, can quote this verse.  As you can see, I’ve used the King James Version because that’s the way I learned it.  Even though we all know this verse, do we really understand what it says?  God loved me so much that he gave his Son.  To die.  For me.  So that I might live forever.  If I truly understand and believe this verse, how can I not put God first?

Prayer:  Dear God, Father, thank You for Jesus, Your only begotten Son.  You let Him die.  For me.  He gave His life.  For me.  His death brought me life.  Everlasting.  I now give You my life, in Jesus, Amen.
