Part One: Attend Regularly (Days 1-8)

The “Five Things We Ask” from our members are things not only to pray about, but things we all participate in as a church family. The connection between “faith and works” (praying and doing) will promote spiritual growth. Do not underestimate the power of your participation in these prayers over the next forty days.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24, 25)

Meditation Thought: There is power in your presence at the worship assembly.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that you renew my energy to worship You. Fill me with a desire and passion to be with God’s people on every occasion. I thank You, Father, for my church family at Missouri Street, for the love and support we offer to one another. I pray for Your presence to be at every worship assembly, and that we will glorify Your name by what we do and say. I pray that I will strive to do better in preparing my Bible class time and I will invite others to be a part of our worship time. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
