Word:

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. … Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men … (Colossians 3:17, 23)

Meditation Thought: what I do, and the attitude with which I do it, matters.

Prayer: Thank You Father for Your goodness. Thank You for giving me my church family at Missouri Street to grow with and to be accountable to in my spiritual life. I pray that I will strive to commit myself to be faithful in attendance, not because of some legalistic checklist, but because being with Your people in worship is the very best thing to do for my family and me. I pray that my example will help others do the same. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
