Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. Meditation Thought:  Just as when I stand before the mirror, I see a reflection of my own appearance, so when I speak, I give a reflection of my own heart.

Prayer: O God, I know You see my heart at all times. Help me to keep it pure. But also help me guard the view of it seen by others as they hear the words from my mouth. Help my speech to be positive and pure as I seek to build up and encourage those around me. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
