Word:

But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. (Matthew 12:36, 37)

Meditation Thought: One day we will stand before God and our words will be the items of evidence presented in our prosecution or our defense.

Prayer: O Righteous Judge, make me so aware of that time when I stand before You and give account for all I have said, so I will never use  my tongue without thinking carefully of the impact of the words I say. May my lips be the guardians of what comes out of my mouth, and may they stop any negative or improper words before they are spoken. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
