Joy

Part 1 “But the godly are happy; they rejoice before GOD and are overcome with joy,” (Psalm 68:3). “Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven…” (Matt. 5:12). “Rejoice in the LORD always.” I will say it again, “Rejoice,” (Phil. 4:4). Do you have joy? If so, what brings you great joy? […]

Miraculous Mission 2019 VBS

This year we will be journeying through time to see how God demonstrates His plan for the Universe and those who inhabit the Earth. It will be a time for the whole congregation: skits, singing, Bible classes for children, teens, and adults. Light meal will end every evening. Here is the VBS Registration Form 2019.

Wisdom

Does GOD still guide his people today? We know He guided Abraham and Moses and most certainly the apostle Paul. Can we come to the LORD and ask him to give us the same guidance and direction for our lives today? The writer of Proverbs said it this way, “Trust in the LORD with all […]

Confident in Christ

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the […]

Abounding in Love

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Phil. […]

Praying with Joy

I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil. 1:3-6 […]

The story comes from Mark 14:3-9, when a woman pours expensive perfume on Jesus’ head and some people call it a waste. Jesus himself though calls it a beautiful thing. What gave me a new perspective is the fact […]

We Can Choose Joy

Ecclesiastes 3:1,4: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:…a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…” One of my morning Bible readings happened to come from a very depressing book (my opinion only) – Ecclesiastes. I am not […]

1 John 3:16

1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” It’s interesting to me how similar this verse is to the more well remembered words of John 3:16. “For God so loved the […]
